Samples and procedures The total sample size of this study was approximately 1720 undergraduate students, enrolled in Lifetime Activities Program (LAP) classes at universities in both the United States and South Korea. A total of 1663 students (94%) completed the survey. Demographically, 822 (49%) were university students in the United States and 841 (51%) were Korean students. Moreover, 929 (56%) were males while 734 (44%) were females. The sample size adequately represents the given populations, Sungwon Bae 39 according to Krejcie and Morgan (1970); the recommended minimum sample size for this study is 331, for a 95 percent confidence level.
